The new umbrella brand for the Philipp family companies
From 2024, the Philipp family of entrepreneurs announces the name „iprona“ for its five renowned companies Bayernwald, Iprona, TrentoFrutta, Beerenfrost and Vulcolor. Because what began in 1923 with the Bayernwald company in Hengersberg now encompasses a whole series of companies in southern Germany, Austria and Italy. In future, the know-how for the production of high-quality natural foods will be bundled under the common brand umbrella.
The name „iprona“ stands for „industrial production of natural food“; the logo shows a drop falling on a tongue. It is the essence of all five companies: Taste and function for the human body, made from the rich fruits of the world.
The „iprona“ group produces juices, purees and concentrates for the food and beverage industry, beverage bases developed individually for customers, and extracts and ingredients for food supplements and health products. Copacking is also offered with glass, pouches and cup fillings as well as storage in the family‘s own cold store. Last but not least, the Philipp family also owns the well-known fruit mulled wine brand Hitzkopf.
With the joint brand „iprona“, the current owners, the four Philipp siblings, want to secure the competitiveness of their companies today and in the future. Courageous steps towards the future and, at the same time, appreciative cooperation with the 600 committed employees have always been part of the company DNA. And the next generation of Philipp children is already in the starting blocks to continue the legacy.
